"...plenty of ‘70s ideas unfold with a fusion exploration that might bring to mind Sharon Van Etten... A record that’s steeped in Canadiana elements, Fox blends rock, pop, jazz and folk into her own brand of Americana, and it’s full sincerity and relatability that draws us in."

BIO
Canadiana queen, free-spirited songbird, and tree-hugging feminist, Kylie Fox blends Americana, rock, folk, and pop with humour, wit, and a touch of '70s glitz. Her songs are rooted in whimsical observations spanning ADHD, the milestones of growing up, Canadian culture, and womanhood. Drawing inspiration from the storytelling and showmanship of Dolly Parton, the raw vulnerability of Big Thief, the roots-rock spirit of Sheryl Crow, and the powerhouse performances of Brandi Carlile, Fox brings an unmistakable personality to her songwriting and live performances.
With her distinct voice, two albums, and years of touring, Fox has built a dedicated fanbase across Canada. Her debut album, Green (2020), was followed by Sequoia (2024) and the 40-date There Are Only So Many Great Nights Tour, earning her an ECMA nomination for Solo Artist of the Year and three PrixNB nominations. Her live performances have brought her to stages including Toronto's Come Together Festival, Canada Music Week, and BreakOut West. Upcoming performances include December appearances at the Boardwalk Stage in Fredericton and TD Station in Saint John, where she'll be the featured musical act at the hockey game. In February 2027, Fox will head overseas to showcase at Your Roots Are Showing in Ireland, accompanied by a tour through Ireland and the UK.
Fox's latest release showcases her signature ability to find humour, heart, and meaning in everyday experiences. Her single “Tacoma” blends infectious melodies with clever, personality-filled storytelling, offering a glimpse into her forthcoming album, I Hope You Have a Really Good Day, expected in spring 2027. The project embraces life's chaos, contradictions, and unexpected joys with honesty and humour.
Beyond her solo career, Fox is a professional Dolly Parton impersonator, vocal coach, and musical theatre composer. In 2025, she brought her first scored production, Magic Beans: The Musical, to sold-out audiences with Solo Chicken Theatre Company.
Whether she's making audiences laugh, dance, or recognize themselves in her stories, Kylie Fox delivers music that is as thoughtful as it is playful, pairing sharp lyricism with a captivating stage presence and a distinctly free-spirited charm.
